The Call for Support

Blue Team Restoration contacted GreenTeam Building Services to support large-scale water removal throughout the property. Upon arrival, several areas were affected, including:

• Flooded crawl spaces beneath the structure
• A water-inundated boiler room
• Multiple elevator pits containing stormwater mixed with hydraulic oil, requiring specialized environmental handling and compliant disposal

As floodwaters receded and access improved, the full scope of work continued to expand.

Our Emergency Response

GreenTeam deployed pump crews and vacuum trucks, working alongside Blue Team Restoration, resort engineering staff, and elevator contractors to stabilize the site as quickly as possible.

Our team executed:

• High-capacity pump deployment to extract standing water from crawl spaces and the boiler room
• Pump-out of eight elevator pits, including:
  • removal of contaminated stormwater,
  • pressure washing of pit interiors, and
  • proper transport and disposal at a private receiving facility
• Close coordination with elevator technicians to return pits to service in compliance with city inspection requirements
• Strict environmental management to ensure all hydraulic-oil-contaminated water was handled safely and responsibly

Throughout the effort, The Boca Raton’s internal coordination was exemplary—the resort opened its kitchens and ensured that all contractor teams involved in the cleanup were supported around the clock.

In one of the fastest and largest restoration responses the area has experienced, the combined teams:

• Restored access to essential mechanical areas
• Returned all elevator pits to service following city inspection
• Prevented further mechanical and structural damage
• Protected guest operations at 75% occupancy
• Enabled the resort to remain fully functional ahead of a busy weekend
