End of the year statement from GreenTeam President.
Three hundred sixty-five days ago, we moved from our small Dania office into a larger, more efficient facility in Pompano.
We started the year with the most significant move in company history, and we are ending it by making some company history as well!
We have taken an idea and turned it into an 8-figure business while focusing on a sustainable business model. We have proven the concept and will continue to scale it organically by providing our well-known “Exceptional Service, No Exception” motto.
A small family business is now slowly taking the shape of an enterprise.
This year we watched team members and their families grow and make changes to adapt to our core values and family-first culture.
Along with building a Grease Trap Maintenance division, GreenTeam created a Business Development department and critical roles in Human Resources and Customer Service. We also added a Purchasing Agent and a Chief Integrations Officer.
We took on the challenge of servicing Fortune 500 companies like Coca-Cola statewide and supported companies like Walmart and Amazon throughout Florida.
We also watched our clients grow this year, which is always our goal.
One of the most exciting things to watch has been the development of our Critical Infrastructure initiative, which we believe will change the landscape of our industry forever.
None of the above would have been possible without the dedication of the 50 people that call GreenTeam home. But, of course, we must also thank our vendors, partners, subcontractors, and consultants.
The Terry Family is ultimately indebted to every one of you. Thank you for your endless loyalty and all of your sweat equity.
I’ve been listening to a lot of Warren Buffet lately, and one of his lines that have caught my attention is, “Be someone that everyone else would want to own 10 percent of.”
Ultimately, that is our goal: to be a company that everyone would want to invest in.
Lastly, I want to thank my wife Karen for balancing our growing family and a family business owner’s somewhat chaotic daily life. What most people see on the surface is filled with hidden interworkings of a superhero mom who makes it all happen. Thank you for what you do!
As 2022 comes to a close, I wish all of our colleagues and peers a happy and healthy New Year and a prosperous 2023. We are indeed just getting started. The world isn’t ready for what GreenTeam has in store, and I can’t wait to see it continue to flourish.
Respectfully Submitted,
James Terry
President
